Abundant Life Race Charity

If you want to be part of a Prostock Stock Car Race Team, see if you qualify for a position on the Race Charity Team (visit www.racecharity.org for more information). We work and train on the race car on Saturdays from 8:30 to 5:30 in Braintree. We race four or five times during the season at tracks in New England including Thompson Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, The New London Waterford Speedbowl and White Mountain Motorsports Park. We do this because we enjoy it and through it we raise money and awareness to help those who are less fortunate. We have raised over $80,000.00 in the last 11 years. 100% of all donations, prize money and sponsorship payments goes to fund mission trips and Project Rescue https://projectrescue.com/. I pay all expenses out of my own pocket to run the race car. If you enjoy working on cars and want to do something for a great cause, this is a lot of fun!

To qualify you must have some experience "working with your hands" - having a fair or large amount of brains is a great plus! We are not looking for a Driver, we are looking for a member of the Pit Crew for both the shop and at the track. You must have some, but not a lot of, experience in mechanics or fabrication or welding or body work or any of the trades. Have you repaired your own car, motorcycle, dishwasher or done some electrical work or remodeling around the house? Are you mechanically inclined? If you have any of the skills needed, we will invite you to work in the shop with us. You would work with us for a few hour and we'd go from there. We will train the right person on how to work on, set up and crew at races. Transportation is provided from our shop in Braintree to the races. More important than experience is reliability as this is a team sport!

What the Crew does:
- Learn how to set up the race car and crew
- Maintain and engineer the race car
- Upkeep/updating of shop and equipment in it
- Maintain the hauler
- Have fun with other people on the crew who enjoy the sport and like our cause of helping others who are less fortunate

When we do this:
- Saturdays.

There is no money commitment:
I supply food and pit passes. There are no out of pocket expenses for crew members.

We have volunteer openings at this time with excellent training provided. We love to race, raise money to help fund missionaries and Project Rescue. We are not looking for a Driver. We are looking for someone who really enjoys racing and the experience of "The Hunt".
