Position Overview:
Stoughton Extended Day is seeking an EEC-certified Toddler Teacher to join our small, center-based program serving the Stoughton community for over 30 years. We are looking for a caring, reliable educator who enjoys working with young children and helping them learn, explore, and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate is patient, engaging, and able to create a positive classroom atmosphere while supporting the developmental needs of toddlers.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for toddlers
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
• Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
• Communicate effectively with parents and families
• Work collaboratively with other staff members and administration
• Follow all Massachusetts EEC regulations and center policies
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Qualifications:
• EEC Certification for Toddler Teacher (required)
• Experience working with toddlers or young children preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, responsible, and patient
• Must pass all required background checks
Schedule:
Full time position. Flexible hours available. Exact schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
