We are looking for compassionate, caring, dynamic staff to provide services to clients living with psychiatric conditions in Hyannis. Working as part of a Collaborative for Action Recovery (CAR) team, the Clinical Specialist will provide services to adults receiving services under the Department of Mental Health's Community Based Flexible Supports CBFS) model.
In this fast paced, community based position, the Clinical Specialist will provide consultation and training to both CAR team and residential program staff on mental illness, psychiatric treatment, evidence-based treatment, crisis intervention and risk management. The Clinical Specialist will participate in high risk clients' assessments and Individual Action Plan (IAP) development to promote effective engagement and clinically informed interventions for clients receiving services both from CBFS outreach teams and residential programs. Additionally, the Clinical Specialist will enhance the coordination of care, person centered planning , assisting staff to oversee, manage and address risk issues, assess complex or high risk clients and their capacity to give informed consent and engage in shared risk discussions and planning.
The schedule is: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm

To succeed in this role you will have good time management skills, good writing skills, strong organizational skills and 3-5 years Human Services experience. A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field required along with licensure or license eligibility (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC). All applicants must:
✓✓ Be at least 21 years of age
✓✓ Have a current, valid, US drivers' license for at least one year
✓✓ Be able to successfully pass a CORI check
✓✓ Be able to pass a driving record check
✓✓ Have a fully insured vehicle that you will use in the course of your daily work
✓✓ Be willing to transport clients in your vehicle
✓✓ Be able to become CPR and First Aid certified within two weeks of hire
