This is a 2017 Fender Telecaster Joe Strummer tribute, factory relic’d. Because of this it becomes an AS-IS condition sale, meaning the buyer cannot nit pick the condition because every mark on it was done intentionally by Fender to replicate the condition of Joe Stummer’s 1966 Tele.
I swapped the pick guard and added compensated saddles to the bridge, all original parts will be included. It also comes with a tweed hard shell case.
Online research will repeatedly mention how great the neck is on this model and I have to agree with them. Such a comfortable and great feeling C-shaped neck.
Pretty standard sounding pickups for a tele, although, the bridge on this one leans to a warmer tone rather than ice-pick-y. May be the height it’s set at. I liked it and never adjusted it. Sounds great, like a telecaster should.
I played in a Clash tribute band for several years and this was only used as a back up guitar/ stage prop rather than a main. Light home use, some studio and that is about it. Probably due for a good set up.
