This is a killer guitar. I really do not want to sell it but it is sadly not getting much play time and has to go.
All original except for the strap buttons.
Specs
Mahogany body
Ebony fretboard
Gibson P90 pickups, (these are stock on this model, not after-market)
50s neck profile
The sound is incredible. Bridge pickup through a Mesa Mk V with medium gain will put a grin on your face as if you are having impure, but polite, thoughts. It is a glorious tone.
I generally do not like neck pickup tones, but these with a clean setting and tone knob rolled back a bit can jazz away all day. This is the only guitar I use the neck PU on. Delightful is all I can say.
If you are unfamiliar with the 50’s neck profile it is fair to inform the potential buyer that it is thick. Not Louisville Slugger-thick, but it is more than a 60s. That being said, it is not uncomfortable or unplayable, quite the opposite. It just tends to catch folks off guard. I thought that my heavily arthritic-ridden hands would suffer from it but instead it is actually more comfortable. (YMMV)
Comes with OHSC, unfortunately the prior owners cat got its claws on the outside a bit, but that is it, it never got to the inside. The guitar strap on it is one-of-a-kind and matches it superbly, I will reluctantly let it go with the guitar if you want it.
