We are removing trees from our property. One tree is a large Chestnut tree (more than 18 inches in diameter and approximately 40+ feet tall). We are on the fence as to whether we will take this tree down or not. Over the years we have been offered cash for the tree. The tree seems healthy as every year we get a lot of nuts on the ground. I'm not an arborist, but this seems to me to be an important note. As of today it's not included in the group of trees we plan to cut down, but we are taking bids at this time. If your offer is accepted, I will include the tree in the overall tree removal project (the tree removal work in scheduled for the 1st week of February 2026). My guess is that the tree would cost $400-$500 to cut down, so your bid would need to be more than this figure. And you would need to transport the tree to your location.
