Everyday, over 50,000 mattresses are thrown into landfills. Mattresses take up valuable space and damage equipment. Massachusetts passed a State Law on 11/1/2022 that bans the disposal of mattresses and box springs at landfills. They can no longer accept them and they need to be sent to a recycling facility.
