Job Summary
Romeiro’s Landscaping is hiring Landscape Maintenance Laborers and Technicians to join our team. Candidate to perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: Mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, weeding, and pruning on large commercial properties. High quality and fast paced work expected. Must be quick leaner and take direction well as part of daily activities.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in landscape care while contributing to the beautification of prestigious properties.
Responsibilities
-Mow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edger.
-Care for established lawns by mulching, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming around flower beds, walks or walls.
-Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges using shears, pruners.
-Gather and remove litter
-Water lawns, trees or plants using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans.
-Care for natural turf fields making sure the underlying soil has the required composition to allow proper drainage and to support the -grasses used on the fields.
-Rake, mulch, and compost leaves.
-Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass or plant flowers, foliage.
-Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs. Apply Mulch for protection.
Qualifications
-Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Strong work ethic and willingness to travel
-Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in landscaping maintenance preferred.
-Experience as a crew member in landscape installations and / or mowing maintenance operations.
-Experience in operate vehicles and powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, chain saws, electric clippers and pruning saws.
Competitive salary, based on experience.
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
