The Norwood office of Home Instead Senior Care is seeking a Weekday On-Call Service
Supervisor. This individual must be available Monday-Friday starting at 5pm and ending at 9am, performing on-call supervision, answering all calls and overseeing client schedule management to provide the highest quality service to clients.
The Weekday On-Call Service Supervisor will work closely with the Staffing Coordinators in the
--Arrive at the Home Instead Senior Care office by 3pm on Monday to go over schedules and to pick up on-call phone and laptop
--Go over weekday schedule and any trouble spots that might arise with staffing coordinators
--Prepare on-call binder with all schedules and Client and CAREGiver rosters
--Transfer office calls to on-call cell phone
--Return to Home Instead Senior Care office Friday morning by 9:30am to pass to drop off cell phone and laptop.
--During the weekday, supervisor's responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
--Answering all incoming telephone calls and responding to them as needed.
--Communicate with CAREGivers and clients regarding scheduling as changes arise.
--Take messages and document all calls so office staff can respond if necessary during the
--Contact backup person when questions arise about clients or CAREGivers that require input
from regular office staff.
--Fill in on assignments that come open until a replacement CAREGiver is found.
Candidate needs to have excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
CNA/HHA experience preferred. Also ideal for retired nurses looking for part-time work.
