2010 Chevy Equinox.
Here’s the scoop- I adore this car so much and if I had even the tiniest bit of automotive knowledge and time I would be keeping this car forever. I live in Texas and my mother in law got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer so we packed up the equinox and drove him all the way to Massachusetts with zero problems. He handles roadtrips like a boss and is veryyyy comfortable, even with our two dogs. Fast forward a month of being up in MA and my engine starts acting strange. Long story short- he needs a transmission or someone who knows how to rebuild one. Being full time caregivers we just do not have the time to shop around for reliable shops and I of course have no ability to rebuild. This car has been extremely well kept and all routine work done throughout. In fact I love this car so much that right before our trip I replaced both catalytic converters, got new tires and brakes. It does currently drive!

$5000 OBO

So here’s the all the deets:

CONS:
-needs a transmission or someone to rebuild

PROS:
-routinely maintained
-both catalytic converters are new (replaced in 2023)
-new tires
-new brakes
-no rust (never driven on snowy roads)
-178k miles (only driven an average of 12k/year)
-clean title
