Up for sale is my 1985 Saab 900 Turbo 16V 5-speed sedan. Cirrus White over Persian Blue. I've owned this car since October of '19 when it had 114k miles.
Currently has 141k miles. Car is a joy to drive and goes like the wind.
Very well maintained. New water pump, alternator, belts all in the past 6 months. New brakes at all four corners, New thermostat, fresh coolant all within the past 2 months. New front struts and mounts last year. Steering rack was replaced about 23k miles ago. New fuel pump about 20k ago. New brake hoses at all four corners installed at that time. All fluids checked and changed regularly.
RT quarter panel has rot, unfortunately kinda common to these cars, but does not affect performance. Reverse works if you use it gently, but I wouldn't go backing up any big hills. The 5 forward gears are excellent and work wonderfully. The paint has some chalkiness in areas and some low spots on the roof, but responds very well to the occasional buff.
Has the factory manual sunroof, which is a thing of beauty. Also has the awesome and rare 1985 Clarion ETR stereo with factory Clarion EQ.
The car is fast, tight, and reliable. I love driving it. It is like nothing else -- the cat's meow. The only reason I'm listing it is because I've got 4 other cars and only so much space. Clean title in hand, current registration sticker.
Obviously, no warranty expressed or implied. Sold as is.
By the way, it's incredible on gas, especially given the performance. I easily get about 25 without trying and have seen as much as 30.5.
Thanks for looking! Priced to move; I'm not trying to make a fortune here, just what's fair. Include a phone number in your email and I'll give you a call.
