Rare 6 slat ladder back, large and comfortable, tall and graceful. The use of cherry, rolled arms, cupid bow rockers and the "unique" carved acorn finials suggest Connecticut origin, c. 1800. 51" high, 27" wide-arm to arm, seat: 24" wide front, 16" wide back, 17" deep. Newly replaced splint seat.
