The rent for this apartment includes the heat, hot water and electricity, so you would pay for phone, cable, internet, etc. Rent is based on occupancy by two people – if more than two people are to occupy the apartment, a higher rent will apply.
This apartment is ideal for someone who does not have a car and needs to be close to transportation - there is also a mall with a supermarket about a 5 minute walk away, and it is only a 5 minute drive to the intersection of Routes 3, 93, and 95 (a.k.a. 128). If you have a car, the building does have a parking lot and off street parking is available, but for one car only.
The apartment is on the 4th floor on the norththeast corner of an apartment building in Quincy Center so it does get quite a bit of sun. There is LVP flooring through the living areas and the bedrooms are carpeted. There is an open floor plan through the kitchen through the living room out to the balcony. The living room measures 15’ X 13’ and it has a through the wall air conditioner that will cool the entire apartment. There are sliding glass doors out to the balcony from the living room. The eat-in kitchen comes with a dishwasher, an electric stove and a refrigerator. The master bedroom measures 13’ x 13’ and it will fit an entire king sized bedroom set (the bed, the bureau and the dresser), the 2nd bedroom measures 10’ x 9’ and it will fit a full sized bedroom set (or a queen bed and one set piece). There is a separate thermostat for each bedroom and the living area, and the full bathroom (it has a tub with a shower) has a linen closet right outside of the door.
The building itself has an elevator; security locks on the doors, an intercom system and coin operated washers and dryers. We do not allow dogs but some other pets (specifically, cats) are acceptable.
If you would like more information on the apartment, please send us your email address (please be aware that if you just send through craigslist and do not enter your email address in to the message body we DO NOT get your email address) along with your name and a phone number where you may be reached at directly during the day. As a landlord, we are not usually available to make phone calls after 3:30 PM or so because we are busy meeting with people that we have been able to speak with during the day after they get out of work (such things as showing apartments, taking applications, doing leases, etc.). Please note that we will not discuss the apartment with 3rd parties -- we will discuss the apartment only with the person who the apartment is for, and that we will not respond to any email questions without a phone number (it just is not time efficient to send back and forth when a quick conversation can resolve all issues/questions). Thank you.
