The rent includes the heat and the hot water, so the utilities that you would be responsible for are electricity (the bills we see usually range somewhere around upper $20’s to upper $30’s per month if you are not running the A/C), telephone, cable, internet, etc. Please note that rent is based on occupancy by one person – if more than one person is to occupy the apartment, a higher rent will apply.

If you are looking for a quiet private place (this is in a small (6 unit) building on a short dead end street) this may interest you. As far as public transportation goes, it would be a long walk to the Quincy Center T; however, it is about a five-minute walk to a bus stop (bus route #225) on nearest main road (the main road is Quincy Avenue).

Overall, the apartment is not large, so if you have a lot of furniture it may be too small for you. The apartment is on the top (3rd) floor on the north facing side of the building, so it will get early morning and late afternoon sun. There are windows on three sides of the apartment, so it is quite bright and airy. There is carpet in the bedroom and living room (in some of the pictures the carpet color may appear to be a light tan, but it is actually a darker mocha with white highlights), and there is linoleum flooring in the kitchen.

The living room measures 11’ X 13’ and just inside the entrance door there is a coat closet that measures 3’ wide. There is also a through the wall air conditioner and a ceiling fan/light in the living room. The eat in kitchen comes with a refrigerator, a dishwasher and an electric stove. The kitchen area floor space measures 11’x 8’, so it will fit a small table. The bedroom measures 11’ X 11’ and it will fit a queen sized bedroom set, there is a large sliding glass mirror closet that runs the length of the wall (the closet is 9’ wide). The bedroom also has a ceiling fan/light. The bathroom has a tub with a shower along with a nice big medicine cabinet, and there is a linen closet right outside of the bathroom door.

The building itself has security locks on the doors, an intercom system, coin operated washers and dryers downstairs and a parking lot for off street parking. We do not allow dogs (sorry) but most other pets are acceptable.
