Job Description and Responsibilities :
The Financial Operations Specialist provides general financial and analytical support to project locations by coordinating and maintaining administrative functions for projects. This position is responsible for interacting and maintaining the customer database to ensure billing accuracy.

Primary Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate project revenue and budgeting

Monitor progress of job sites via Norad and Maxwell and update project data; report progress to Project Manager; notify management of discrepancies between the two systems

Manage the process of material requisitions and purchase orders; flag and raise issues of concern Responsible for the creation and close out of projects in Company and customer databases

Process CMRs (Change Management Records) as directed by Project Manager

Support the financial staff as needed

Perform daily data entry into excel and Zoho trackers

Ad hoc reporting

Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Business Management and/or Accounting; wireless telecom or utility/construction industry experience preferred OR equivalent experience


1-3 years financial experience; wireless telecommunications preferred

Basic understanding of profit/loss and estimates vs. actuals

Technical Skills:

Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Heavy data base entry and word processing daily in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Adobe

Working knowledge of Pivot Tables, V-lookup, and basic financial functions within Excel

Soft Skills:

Highly organized and detail orientated

Excellent data entry and scheduling skills

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines

Time management skills; deadline adherence is mandatory

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing

Sitting at a desk for 6-8 hours a day

Working on a computer for 6-8 hours a day

May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
