Kitty Hawk M1 60 watt amp head. Made in West Germany in the late 1980s, these 2-channel amps, with four distinct voicings are incredibly versatile. The channels are clean and overdrive. The overdrive channel offers switchable crunch low-gain OD, high-gain lead voicing, or you can run both overdrives together, producing a screaming, saturated, hot overdrive. You can get from Fender-type clean to Marshall-type crunch to Boogie-type lead OD with the quad-mode footswitch. Adding to the tonal possibilities is switchable Class A / Class AB push-pull, and switchable EL34 or 6L6 power tubes. There was a period of time when Prince was using these amps onstage during his shows.
