For sale is a Buffet Crampon 400 series professional tenor saxophone in the brushed matte antique finish. The horn is in very good shape with no wear of the finish. The ergonomics are very good, the key touches are not on a flat plane but curve slightly to allow for a relaxed hand. The build is very solid with very strong brass and double arms on low pad cups, compared to my other tenors this is a tank and will last a long time before any repairs or adjustment are needed. The intonation is very good and this tenor has been very mouthpiece friendly. The horn is very free-blowing and has a very deep, rich tone, the audio sample is played with a high baffle stainless mouthpiece and Rigotti gold 3 reeds and the sound is still very mellow. The sound is very well rounded and pretty much perfect for smooth playing and excels in sub-tones.
