Plan that you will need to make multiple trips in a full size pickup.
Sorry to say that 2 feet of snow now covers just about everything.
Firewood is getting harder to find this season due to the snow and extreme cold weather. You will have to do some digging to get it out, but worth it.
There are 5 foot logs that I will have to load with my tractor seeing how they weigh well over 600 - 800 lbs.
So, in my original post I wrote….
I have been clearing MAPLE and ASH trees from around my house and garage. This is creating a TON of wood, perfect for someone who processes their own firewood.
I have done all the hard and dangerous work, all you need to do is cut to length and split.
My pictures show a tiny bit of what I have.
My first picture shows 14” - 16” long logs from a standing dead ash tree.
The big logs are roughly 12” in diameter.
I am cutting the big stuff into roughly 4’ - 5’ sections.
The hard work has been done.
All I am asking is $200 for my expenses and to cover my cost of a new bar and chain for my saw.
There is currently at least 2 cord of maple and ash available.
I also have some 4’ sections of buttercup. Perhaps not the best hardwood for burning, but certainly will burn and give you good heat.
Again, I am asking $200 for all of it.
Super good deal that will save you time and money.
The cost to heat your home is constantly increasing.
Don’t miss this opportunity to save a good chunk of money.
