Please do not contact me asking what else I am selling or going to sell. Orig. MSRP was $1000.back in the 1990's. These great sounding VR965 are modified with great sounding M B Quart Titanium 1" dome tweeters. New Woofers are great quality Pinnacle (USA made, pictured) 6" super large magnet and voice coil, side firing subwoofers which gives them a nice "tighter" bass over the original woofers. Each speaker cabinet has their own original great working built-in 80 watt subwoofer amplifier. The 4 1/2" midrange speakers are the originals and are quite nice. This is an AC powered speaker, and they come with their detachable IEC AC power cords. When powered, the subwoofers can use either the same speaker connection feed that you are already using for your tweeters and midranges, or you can opt for a second independent feed (RCA input) from your LFE output which allows you to control the input from your Home Theater receiver. The integral amplifiers work great and are quality made – none of the humming or buzzing that plague many of the other powered speaker versions from other companies. Cabinets are internally braced inside from the factory to eliminate unwanted resonance. The baffle is 1" thick. The socks/grill cloths have a few pulls but nothing terrible and are Very presentable. The stabilizer feet are made of steel with padding underneath. Each is 42" high X 14" F-R X 6.5" side to side and weight is approx. 50 lbs. each. Cash and carry only.
