Artist Bibliography: Flash Rosenberg was the pioneering artist-in-residence for LIVE from the NYPL from 2006 – 2013. She drew discussions in real-time to create her signature, “Conversation Portraits” — as a series of illustrated quotations. Selected programs were edited into animated summaries. Flash devised a way to use her pen as if it were a camera, to take snapshots of ideas. She immediately translates complexity into visual clarity, to help make difficult information more accessible and memorable.
