The Cryogenic Services Marketing Product Manager is responsible for leading the service strategy, executing the services roadmap in a matrix organization and achieving profitable margin, for Cryogenic products within Brooks Semiconductor global services.
The service strategy includes: alignment with Brooks strategy, sizing of the total and addressable market, customer segmentation and prioritization, customer needs analysis, capabilities assessment and current positioning, gap assessments, service roadmaps and plans to cover the full lifecycle of the Cryogenic product from design for serviceability, warranty support strategy, Post Warranty repair / exchange service offering, field upgrades and service end-of-life and aligning with global repair operations for developing the required Regional capabilities and optimizing Inventory investments.
The Services Marketing Product Manager will assist with the development of a multi-year product and business plan including growth strategy, Pro-forma P&L and supporting financial models. They are also responsible for pricing the offering, using Value-Based pricing methodologies, and for ensuring system readiness and compliance from quote-to-invoice and managing the business forecasts.
The Services Marketing Product Manager is the leader of their service products and develops business plans, marketing strategy, service product positioning, and Go-To-Market plans in the marketplace.
The role provides indirect cross-functionally business leadership to engineering, quality, field service, operations, other product line managers and sales to prioritize investments and develop new services or enhance existing services.
This position includes a responsibility for maintaining knowledge of technical aspects of service offers (not actual engineering design/prod dev). Service Marketing Product Managers fund and drive operations and engineering to deliver projects on-time, value engineering savings and overall cost reductions.
The Service Marketing Product Manager owns the customer satisfaction for the Cryogenic services product line and uses customer scorecards, direct or indirect feedback, and any available information to improve the offering, its quality, or any aspect of the operational delivery to delight our customers.
Experience with the Semiconductor manufacturing industry is a must. Knowledge of Implant and/or PVD processes is preferred.
Excellent communication, written and oral, the ability to develop and articulate a service offering that addresses customer pain points.
Data-driven, can analyze raw, un-aggregated data, and derive insights to use as supporting evidence for business decisions or recommendations.
Must exhibit leadership skills to shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy, growth strategy and business plan, including demonstrating innovative acumen to develop and execute new ideas through collaboration.
Team leadership oriented, having the ability to motivate and work well within a Global organization and with diverse, cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, operations, sales, other product managers, field service, and finance.
Has the ability to conduct market and competitive analysis and create and maintain a multi-year business plan including a service operations and technology roadmap that ties into the financial plan.
Identify market segments (OEM tool types, applications, technology nodes wafer sizes, regions, etc.), sizes, market share, trends and communicate results to management.
Develop service requirements, service value proposition and technology plans.
Writing service Marketing Requirements Documents and for Service product development and lifecycle efforts including value engineering and operational cost reduction activities.
The ability to develop and drive planning for new service introductions on a global scale.
To provide a base unit configuration to sales for standard offers and budgetary quotation requirements. Provide quotation information to Sales with standard pricing and specific part numbers.
Perform gross margin calculations and support customer negotiations to achieve required business unit profitability targets.
Prepare special proposals as required for key accounts and high profile business.
Interface with finance, sales, business unit management and operations to ensure forecast accuracy and consistency. Promptly informs senior management of any change in the business or technology environment.
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Material Sciences or a related technical field with 6+ years of experience in product marketing. MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; self-initiative.
Strong level of proficiency in the use of personal computers and software packages, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Detail oriented, have strategic thinking skills, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Poised presenting in front of customers and members of the Senior Leadership.
Ability to travel globally with Brooks Sales personnel globally to support ongoing sales and customer activities.
