I have a rebuilt Raleigh Sprite 5 Speed for sale. This is a rare Raleigh with a 5 Speed Sturmey Archer gear system, not the typical three speed. It has an extra low range and an overdrive gear on the high side. Later model Sprites have a conventional derailleur 5 speed hub.

This Raleigh was made in October of 1967. I have taken the shifters apart, greased the shift pins, replaced the three speed shifter and the second high/low shifter, replaced all of the cables and most of the housings, adjusted the brakes, lubed the internal shift mechanism and checked the bike all over. This Raleigh has a 23 inch frame, so it is perfect for a taller rider. Great riding bike as all Raleighs are.

This Sprite will provide effortless riding and give you the option of hill climb and extra cruising gear with the 5 speed configuration.
