This is a mid to late nineties Trek 8000 ZX bonded aluminum lightweight hardtail mountain bike in a medium 18” frame, good for riders measuring 5’5”-5’9” approximately.
This bike has been refurbished with new cables and housings, two new Shimano combination shifter/brake levers, new grips, pedals, chain, brake pads,Serfas 26x2.1” tires and tubes, and a repurposed Bontrager SSR saddle. This bike was one of Trek’s higher end aluminum frame mountain bikes and it is equipped with a Shimano 3x8 Deore XT drivetrain, a RockShox spring coil fork, and V-brakes. Perfect for someone looking for a quality entry-level trail bike, a city commuter, or multi-surface bike path cruiser.
