Best 20th century factory construction of solid wood with quarter-sawn oak veneer finish. Large, flat rectangular top. Six drawers with dividers and a file-support system ( on lower right hand side). Two pull-out writing surfaces (one on each side). Easy assembly upon two pedestals of drawers, each on four legs, with screws (provided). Low and wide drawer at lap operates internal latches for clever lockout of side drawers.
Cosmetic defects are as you might expect of a piece done in this style of construction and age: -veneer in need of gluing. -dark rings or spots on top. -variations of finish darkness.
