Brimfield-worthy piece is shabby cottagecore / country at its finest with scuffs and marks consistent with vintage use and age of generations. Armless spindleback chair is approaching its hundredth birthday and hails from an 1850s Merrimack Valley farmhouse and is approximately 38"h x 16"w x 15"d. Approx 20" seatback height and 15" seat depth, 18"h from floor to seat. Please see photos, as they are part of the full description of this shabby chic, handmade piece.
In good vintage condition, this overall sturdy item has scuffs, scrapes, and scratches consistent with age and reasonable use. Top rail has hand carved design, chair has been painted in varying stages, one foot rest bar is broken off/missing, and original seat is present but cane/rope seat strands that used to weave through it are not.
Please note, we purposely do not clean or change such wonderful old pieces in any way, as we prefer to leave any facelifting decisions to you. A terrific accent for your porch, patio, garden, she-shed, craft room and more, they don't make 'em like they used to.
