Tru-Fence is a locally owned fence company serving Wakefield and surrounding North Shore communities. We install wood, vinyl (PVC), aluminum, and chain-link fencing for residential and commercial customers.
We are hiring an experienced Lead Fence Installer / Crew Leader to run field operations as we grow the company in 2026 and beyond.
This is a leadership role, not entry-level labor.
Pay:
$30–$38 per hour based on experience
Full-time, seasonal (March–December) with opportunity for long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
Run and complete fence installations independently
Layout jobs accurately and verify dig locations
Oversee helper and maintain job efficiency
Install wood, vinyl, aluminum, and chain-link fencing
Install and adjust gates properly (hinges, latches, alignment)
Maintain clean and professional job sites
Communicate professionally with customers when needed
Heavy tear-outs and bulk digging are subcontracted, allowing focus on installation quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years fence installation experience
Ability to read layouts and manage full installs
Valid driver’s license
Reliable transportation
Professional attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to lift 80+ lbs and work outdoors
