Dr Z Therapy head and two cabinets - $2,800 (Haverhill)

I’m the original owner of the amp head, the speakers and one of the cabinets. Purchased from Humbucker Music one month after the manufacture date of the amp (3/2016). The 2nd cabinet was purchased later used, in excellent condition on Reverb. This amp and the cabinets have never left my home and all function and look like new. Never exposed to cigarette smoke.
The Therapy head was a limited edition and according to Dr. Z there were only 199 made. So this great amp is also a rare bird. While most of this run had a Tolex face, this one has salt ‘n pepper tweed with white piping trim that matches the main cabinet. Beautiful. I’ve reinstalled the original tubes that I briefly used before I started swapping in various NOS ones shortly after I got it. They test good and strong on my Orange valve tester. Like all Dr. Z amps this is a point to point, hand wired, all tube, boutique piece of gear.
The cabinets are the Dr. Z “portable” 8 ohm cabs with removable panels on the back so they can be either open or closed back. Very high quality cabinets. On one cabinet the tweed matches the tweed on the head exactly. On the extension cab the color is slightly darker. Other than that they are identical.
The speakers are 8 ohm Celestion Alnico Cream, not to be confused with the Celestion Creamback. See the last photo for a side by side comparison of the Cream (on the left) and the Creamback (on the right), yeah, those are both 12". I’m the original owner of the speakers too. They’re nicely broken-in and have never been abused. They’re made in the UK. Creambacks are made in China. No comparison.
High quality connecting cables are included as well plus a splitter for using both cabs.
