ELECTRONICS REPAIR TECHNICIAN & CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT (Music Electronics)

The Repair Technician is responsible for managing a busy service department with duties including troubleshooting, diagnostics, performing all repairs on new and used electronics, managing replacement parts and more. Professional communication skills via email and over the phone are required for effective interactions with customers, co-workers, and partners.

- A functional understanding of audio electronics is required (electric guitar/M.I.)
- You must have component level troubleshooting skills
- Soldering skills must be excellent including surface mount components
- Inspect, diagnose, service and repair our products in various conditions.
- Manage the service department including inventory, receiving, shipping and reporting.
- This position requires the use of common hand tools, soldering, digital multi-meter, etc.
- You must have the ability to read/understand electronic schematics.
- You must be self-managing and promote a safe, organized, clean and functional workspace
- You must be comfortable in a fast paced & ever changing environment.
- Good customer service skills & poise are required.
- Interact directly with customers in an online support system.
- Manage dealer/re-seller repairs, service inquiries, and parts orders.
- Able to use a variety of online tools including email, documents, spreadsheets.
- Familiarity with PC/Windows and Mac audio environment.
- Willingness to perform [VERY INFREQUENT] offsite work, possible eves or weekends.
- Good critical thinking skills, problem solving and time management skills.
- 5+ years of experience.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
