Our manufacturing team is hiring a ProtoTRAK operator. A strong candidate must be able to work independently under the guidance of the Operations Manager to support our Ipswich, MA manufacturing site. This position will allow for a candidate to gain experience in other areas of polyurethane manufacturing.

Required Competencies:

*TRAK Lathe Programming – Ability to set up and program TRAK lathes to run parts to their specifications per print.
*Attention to detail – Familiarity with following work instructions for setup and operation. Ability to ask questions when needed. *Follows all safety rules and requirements.
*Inspection – General understanding of machine part drawings and familiarity with common inspection tools and gages
*Experience in a manufacturing/production setting
*High School Diploma or equivalent
*Experience with CAD software, preferably Solidworks.
*At least one professional role demonstrating competency as a Machinist.
*Daily startup and operation of lathes
*Setup of CNC Lathes
*Basic G-code and M-code programming for new parts or troubleshooting
*Perform first article inspection with common metrology tools to ensure products comply with company and customer standards.
*Raise quality concerns with management and troubleshoot to address issues
*Work with manufacturing and management team to identify possible areas for improvement machining or manufacturing processes

Travel Requirements
· Must have driver’s license and reliable transportation.

7am-3:30pm Monday - Friday
Pay will be based on experience level
