ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN – 1ST OR 2ND SHIFT
Location: Gloucester, MA
Pay Rate: $30 – $35 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift (Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM) or 2nd Shift (Mon–Thu, 3:45 PM – 2:15 AM)
Engagement: 18-Month Contract
A global leader in semiconductor equipment manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to support advanced capital equipment in a cleanroom environment.
1. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform HV electrical, high vacuum, and mechanical troubleshooting
• Assemble, integrate, rebuild, and calibrate semiconductor capital equipment
• Support plasma etch platforms and Ion Implanters (HC, MC, PLAD)
• Execute mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing
• Measure particulates, conduct metals testing, and perform demonstrations
• Maintain OSHA, PPE, and cleanroom safety standards
2. Qualifications:
• 4–7 years technician experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment
• 2–3 years semiconductor experience required
• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma minimum
• Strong understanding of electrical circuitry
• VIISta / VCS tool training a plus
