This is a 1996 Traverse 6044 telescopic fork lift built by Pettibone. I bought it as a back up to my 10k lb. lull to do some upgrades to it, most of which are now done. This one is a 6k lb. capacity fork lift with 6200 hours on it. Its an all wheel drive , all wheel steer fork lift with 35' lift height and traversing carriage that allows entire boom too move forward 6' for extra reach through openings or over obstacles at any height that many machines cant do. It also has the fork tilt option as well as machine leveling option. 2 joy sticks control all hydraulic functions . 3 speeds forward and reverse automatic transmission. John Deere Diesel engine. Fresh fluids and All hydraulic cylinders on this machine , including all 4 steering cylinders have been freshly or recently rebuilt and are bone dry except the boom telescope / extend cylinder shown in last few photos which leaks from gland seal which will need to be addressed eventually but does not my affect use. Well over a dozen hoses recently replaced with new. All 4 tires replaced with brand new. Has good brakes including park brake. Last few photos show the mentioned one and only hydraulic leak on this entire machine does drip when under load and enough to leave a spot when parked but i still use it without issue here. Its just the cylinder gland seal, the piston seals are fine. This cylinder gland is fairly easy to remove with proper tools and they can be done without removing the rod , piston or cylinder from machine. Photo's show the 1" thick plate in front of rod end, behind it is a nut you remove, then retract the rod out of plate and unscrew the gland to repack it. About $50 for the gland seal kit and a few hours for someone equipped to do it. Machine is priced accordingly. She runs and functions great and is currently in use when ever its needed. Very maneuverable and easy to operate. No drift in any steer mode as most have as all 4 cylinders have just been repacked. Cash and carry only please, same way i bought it. No wiggle room in price at this point as im in no hurry too sell and dont mind keeping it as a back up machine in case my other is tied up. Always starts instant with a touch of the key and ready to work. If by check its $18,500 and wait 5-7 days for my bank to release the cash to me. thanks show contact info
