I switched the type of hives I have and never needed these. They do not come with floats or screens but those can be ordered if you are looking for them.
With each compartment holding one gallon, this two compartment feeder sits on top of the hive boxes, just under the inner cover. Bees access the feeding area through an open slot that runs cross-ways in the middle. The bottom is recessed 1/8" to minimize rocking on burr comb left on the top bars of the box below it. All seams are be caulked to ensure that it is leak-proof.
