We are a restaurant looking for a new Kitchen Manager who really knows their stuff and understands food quality and service but also that it's a business and if we aren't running right, all the sales in the world don't matter.
The person we are looking for should have a love of the industry and want to help raise a restaurant that has lot of history behind it. We are already moving in the right direction since new ownership took over, but we still have a way to go and want someone who will help us get there!
This isn't an 'Executive Chef' position - the right candidate must control his labor and COGS but also has to lead by example, rolling up their sleeves to show that nothing is beneath them so they rally their team around them. Be on the line, wash dishes, nothing it beneath ownership or FOH management so that is the mindset that the new Kitchen Manager must also have.
Candidate should have, or be willing to get quickly, the standard certs for kitchen management - ServeSafe, Allergen, Choke, etc..
Interested candidates should submit their resume and a cover letter so we can start to get to know you and include your salary requirements - please note, those that just send a resume and nothing else will not be considered since it is starting off on the wrong foot and no effort being put in to get the job obviously makes us think of what you're effort work be in the position or that you are just submitting applications to hit your unemployment quota, so impress us and we'll get you in ASAP to see if it is a mutual match!
Principals only. Recruiters, please don't contact this job poster.
