I'm looking for a P90X workout partner for 3 days a week at the Peabody YMCA. You must be a member of any YMCA in the area to have access. This is strictly a workout thing, and nothing more than peer motivation and workout activity sharing.
I am a 50-year-old guy who has done 3 sets of 3-month P90X workouts before and find it is best to do with a workout partner. I have not done it for about 2 years, so I have some work to get into shape. I know that P90X really works if you do it as prescribed.
Each person works out using their own weights and own effort that works for them (at the Y workout area). It's just a matter of doing the given routine at the same time to help encourage each other. I will have my iPad with the P90X videos for workouts 3 days a week and we can setup a schedule that works for both. I'm planning to do the 3 weight-related P90X videos each week:
#1 Chest & Back
#3 Shoulders & Arms
#5 Legs & Back
The other days I don't do P90X, I will do cardio solo - pool swimming, running, etc.
