Norfield Associates, Inc. is a third-party independent adjusting firm who investigate liability insurance claims for insurance companies. The claims we investigate vary from trips and falls, slips and falls, dog bites, workers' compensation claims, bar altercations or automobile accidents. It is the Insurance Investigator's task to meet with the individuals involved in the accident to obtain their written or recorded statement, obtain photographs of the accident locations, obtain police reports, canvass the accident areas for potential witnesses and possibly obtaining their written or recorded statements, conducting blind calls or cold calls to neighborhoods, town hall research, etc., to gather the facts of the accident and provide the insurance company with an opinion on where the fault lies.
We are currently seeking a confident, motivated, self-disciplined, critical-thinking individual who is able to work independently from home to join the Norfield team to investigate insurance claims in the Wakefield, Massachusetts, area. Training is provided to assist with learning the trade and obtaining the necessary skills to become successful in this exciting field.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, local travel, fact gathering and analysis, and report generation of our investigations to the insurance companies. Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license are a must.
