This guy sells “rebuilt” Honda outboards out of a conex box in a junkyard in Ipswich. That should have been my first indication that this might not all be above board. He offers a 30 day warranty but won’t put this in writing, or give you a receipt. You may think it’s ok because you gave him cash and got some kind of “deal”. Well, the IRS and BBB should take a look into this guys business…
The These motors are complete junk. When, not if, you have an issue you’ll find out what a piece of shit Bob is. A completely broken man with no thread of decency. Not only did he sell me a complete turd, he took my perfectly running trade-in. So one person out there got a decent 25hp Honda and I got a 40hp boat anchor.
He will, in no uncertain terms, tell you to fuck off if you call him with an issue, like for example, the engine won’t run. It doesn’t matter how polite or flexible you are. He’s super aggressive, like you’ve wronged him in some way. I see a damaged man with a scarred childhood that he’ll carry with him till his last days. It’s like he’s promised himself nobody will ever hurt him again and he plans on achieving this by attacking anybody who approaches him.
