2000 290 Searay Sundancer - Will sea trial with deposit

Update: Prior to launching this year: New front Isinglass, re sealed starboard drive, replaced port trim solenoid, 3 new deep cycle batteries and cap and rotor and plugs on both motors. Just returned from a trip from Ipswich to Gloucester, Gloucester to Salem then back to Ipswich. Boat ran great, cruises at 25 MPH at 3000 rpms and the AC while plugged in saved our 4th!!

This is a perfect family boat, we have owned the boat for 4 years and are ready for something a little bigger. There has been over 24K in upgrades and work done in the last 3 years. This boat is big enough to spend several nights aboard but also small enough and with its windless back into the beach pick up the drives and spend the day. There is a full enclosure with either 45-degree mooring cover or a full Bimini camper enclosure with both isinglass and screens. 30-amp shore power with AC, fridge, and stove top. LOA is 31'8" with its large swim platform and with a 10'2" beam she is very sturdy both at anchor and while underway.
Engines: Twin Counter Rotating Merc Cruiser 350 Fuel Injected with 530 hours. These engines run great and are very efficient. After purchasing I put over 4K into the engines, full tune up - cap and rotor, plugs, filters, belts. Starboard engine was pulled to replace an oil pan and replaced the alternator on the port motor.

Drives: Bravo 2 outdrives - Before launching all exhaust hoses in the out-drives were replaced. Before last season both gimble bearing and bellows were replaced. Props are both in good shape, one being reconditioned before last season.
Electronics: New in 2015 - Garmin 8-inch GPS with Radar, Garmin 200 Marine Radio, Clarendon Stereo, Fusion Speakers, Battery Charger, 3 new batteries, windlass rebuilt, 2 Antennas. New in 2017 - Ocean LED Underwater Light, Vacuflush Pump and electric hot water heater.

Overall, this is a solid boat. Was always professionally winterized and shrunk. The bottom is in great shape and the gel coat still shines like it did in 2000. You will not find a nicer 290 Sundancer for the money.
