- Fisher College is still around, it was founded in 1903. It began as Winter Hill Business College offering business education to women in Somerville, MA. It later moved to its current location on Beacon Street in Boston in 1939. The college expanded its curriculum beyond business to include communication, criminal justice, education, fashion, and hotel management. It was initially all-female until 1998
