This is a 1991 Raleigh Technium Mountain Bike, in an 18” medium frame size. These bikes were steel lugged with bonded aluminum tubing. The drivetrain on this bike was converted to a 1X wide range 8 speed, with a 36T chainring up front on polished Shimano cranks (converted to a sealed Bottom Bracket), with a 13-42T “rainbow” rear cassette, driven by a Shimano XT rear derailleur. Original Araya wheels paired to some brand new Maxxis 26X2.1 Pace tires. Brakes were changed from cantilever to SRAM 7.0 V-Brakes with Shimano levers. Quill stem adapter was added to allow for the new shorter stem and 720mm Carbon Handlebars. Bike has all new cables and housing for brakes and shifting. I added some pink pedals, a new seat, and some new grips to round it out.
