1979 Schwinn Hurricane J34-6 single speed coaster brake - serial # HQ603320, on front of frame.
Original condition as far as I know.
Rare model, as a single speed, as they sold more of the Hurricane 5 (5 speed) models.
This BMX style is one of the first as bikes evolved from the "sting ray - muscle bike, banana seat era, to the bmx style.
This was one of the first bikes with a BMX style seat.
This is a very historic bike being the cross over from the classic Krate style bicycles to the BMX style.
This bike is in great condition for its age. I have a used period correct replacement front reflector to replace the one in pics.
I added new tubes, tires and rim strips to the rims, 4 new front spokes and a new screw to attach the front fender.
rear tire is a slick and front is brick pattern, as it would have been back in 1979.
Otherwise as is "barn find". I have the old rear stingray worn out rear tire.
