Bernette B35 sewing machine - needs service - $250 (Gloucester)

I was pleasantly surprised with the performance and quality of this machine, having used higher-end machines in the past. It did everything I needed it to do, and without problems until one day a stray thread got sucked into the side vent of the machine. I do not know how much thread it pulled in before I realized this. Because of that, the hand wheel is harder to turn and secondly, because I tried to unscrew a portion of the case to look inside (like I used to do with high end machines), the bobbin winder works, but does not automatically stop when the bobbin is full. When I tried to unscrew one screw, I heard a "clink", so the washer is still inside the machine. I continued to sew on this machine for a few months, even with these minor issues. I am moving cross-country and do not want to pay shipping (and eventually having it professionally repaired), so I am selling it. Will likely buy the same machine again when I settle into my new home. Retails for $419.
