Part-Time Bookkeeper (Peabody, MA)
Compensation: Based on experience
Seeking a bookkeeper to serve as the primary point of contact for the company.
This position reports directly to the company president.
Initially, this will be a part-time position that will expand into a full-time position. Hours are flexible.
Write and revise all job proposals and work contracts
Account Receivable (posting payments and invoicing)
Accounts Payable (processing invoices and vendor payments)
Maintain and reconcile multiple bank and credit accounts
Produce financial statements as needed
General data entry
Organize and maintain filing system
Other administrative duties as assigned
Associate or Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent experience
High proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience with QuickBooks preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented and extremely organized
Experience with invoicing, accounts payable and accounts receivable strongly preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills with customers, sub-contractors and vendors
Effective time management skills and ability to work independently
