This position will be staffed inside of our small administrative operations office in Malden, MA.
We have a total of 25 guest rooms located in two small Hotels in Boston, which require some oversight (from Malden) in order to take our business to the next level.
We are looking for a candidate with an operations or financial background to help formalize and maintain basic systems for maximizing occupancy, rate management, and inventory supply management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Making changes through our online databases to room rates and room inventory to adjust the price and number of rooms advertised via third party booking websites.
• Liaising with the staff to maintain inventory of food and dry goods, purchasing when necessary.
• Ensuring third party commission payments are made timely and accurate at month end.
We have been in the business many years and have an excellent hotel database management system and established relationships with various vendors for supplies, we simply need a set of eyes keenly focused on the rates and supplies at the properties in order to maximize our revenues and stay ahead of inventory depletion.
The position will require approximately 3-4 hours per day, 5 days per week in our Malden office.
We do not intend for the position to require any regular travel to the hotels.
