Interiors Boston is an dynamic new design magazine that will launch in April 2018. We are a sister magazine to Boston Common owned by media conglomerate Modern Luxury, which owns more than 80 magazines national wide. The editor-in-chief of Interiors Boston seeks an intern to assist in research, writing listings and short articles, photo research, and attending possibly attending photo shoots. Additionally, the qualified candidate would contribute to writing headlines and proofreading.
The editor-in-chief works from home, so the internship will be done on a remote basis. Candidate will be responsible for a range of duties that will vary. The tasks will include: compiling listing information, phone interviews with designers that will be written up in article format, and calling various outlets for relevant photography.
Interested candidates must be pursuing a journalism or English degree. Internship is for college credit only. Must possess strong writing skills with clips. Must be a motivated self-starter who can adhere to strict deadlines. An interest in interior design and architecture is a bonus.
The internship would start immediately through mid-April.
