55-80 years old? Have you suffered a concussion or head injury? (Boston)

We are studying how brain injuries in older adults relates to physical activity, specifically walking. We are seeking out adults between the ages of 55 and 80 who have experienced a brain injury in the last 3 months to 15 years and are able to walk without a walking aid (ex. a cane or walker).

This study's initial visit will take place at Northeastern University at 805 Columbus Drive, Boston MA. Afterwards, everything is done remote.

This study involves a 4-hour baseline visit, consisting of an MRI scan, cognitive assessments, and questionnaires. This study will last for 12 weeks involving taking weekly walks and one phone call weekly with study staff. After the 12 week intervention, you will complete an endpoint assessment over the phone.

You will be compensated for your time and we provide free parking.
