Speaker, female, for Voice Project (UK, American)

compensation: $500 for 3 minutes of audio
Speakers needed for Voice Modeling Projects for use in the development of Artificial Intelligence

More than one talent will be booked for this project. There are multiple auditions in this posting. You can audition for more than one of these jobs.

This is a text-to-speech (TTS) project. Use is ALL MEDIA IN PERPETUITY. Talent should not audition if they have concerns about TTS usage.

If selected: Volume: up to 3 minutes only (fully edited with silence collapsed) for each project. Actual project is recorded in a good home recording setup (we may send equipment your home at our cost and pay for its return).

If selected: Talent buyout rate is $500 for 3 minutes of audio (intelligible words with silence collapsed). And it's possible the project may repeat or additional volume with a tone change will be requested for additional pay if the voice works well.

Language: English. Accents: Standard American, UK Accent

Here are the audition specifications:

These auditions are unpaid.

Closet recording setup sonic quality preferred or better. But you may also audition with a phone recording if you record in a very quiet space like a closet with hanging clothes (very little reflection).

AUDITION SCRIPTS AND DIRECTION BELOW FOR 5 DIFFERENT VOICE TYPES (male adult voices)

Audio Style (different pace, pitch, accent, tone/style) - References available for download at the link below:

If booked: rate for any of these text-to-speech jobs (each script number and corresponding audio reference is a different potential job) is a $500 buyout per 3-minute supervised job recording in an approved space (good homes setups are ok). If you have usage concerns about TTS, do not audition. Label your submissions with your name according to the audition number. The audition does not have to match the script exactly. It's just a starting point and ad-libs are encouraged if it helps your performance. Make sure you label carefully before sending because we are pushing a lot of different styles and they are noted by the associated script.

Each of the scripts below correspond with a separate reference file. Honor the pace, pitch, tone, and general style of the reference. This is just a starting point so you're in the general ball park. If booked after audition, you will be directed to "make it your own" style.
____________

26F2 - calm standard American: matching pitch is very important.... this is partially "off-voice"/whispered, very slow, broken phrases, alto pitch.

26F2 audition script

It's something I have to overcome. Being constantly disappointed by the people of this world. Time and time again. More grief. Over and over. At some point you have to move on.. That's what life calls upon you to do. That's what is on deck for tomorrow. It's either that or more pain. So I choose to rise.

_________

27UK2- UK accent, pay attention to reference pacing, pensive, profound, softs spoken (note this pace faster than the American version)
