The Department of Brain & Cognitive Sciences (BCS) is looking for a storyteller who can synthesize and convey information across visual platforms. The video production intern is a multimedia content generator that produces video and photo content for BCS social media channels. The video production intern will also provide ad hoc communications support for the department as directed by the Communications Officer.
The ideal candidate is team player who is comfortable in a scientific research environment and can work well with a broad range of positions, from administrative staff to tenured faculty. The video production intern will work closely with the Communications Officer to execute the concept of all deliverables through to completion, and ensure consistency and quality of the MIT brand.
This is a short-term temporary part-time (6-20 hours per week) position at $15.00 per hour.
This temporary hire will be engaged through MITemps program, managed by our vendor partner, NextSource. Incumbent will be subject to NextSource policies and procedures.
