Professional commuter - looking for weekly "crash pad"

Maybe this will work for someone out there who wants to offset some rent.
I'm a 40 year old male professional, whose company recently relocated to Boston (back bay). I live with my wife in a house in central CT that we aren't keen to give up.
I'm looking for a place to rent in the area up to $1k or so a month (ideally including utilities). I'll only be there 1 to 2x a week at most, usually a tuesday or wednesday night, sometimes both. There may be the rare weekend if something is going on that I would spend a night (but would communicate that).
I'm hoping to find someone who has an extra room on the green line who is stable but might just like to offset some rent in their home/apt and I get a place I can leave a few things so I don't have to keep schlepping all my stuff to a hotel.
