My partner and I are renting out a spare room in our condo.
Two house mates occupy one half of the condo which consists of two bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom. Very fast Fios WiFi. The entrance is into this area is from the back door. There may be a total of 3 people using the kitchen and bathroom. The place is well orchestrated.
Heavy cooking occurs between 12 noon-8PM. We try to by library quiet after 8PM. We communicate by texting. Each room has sound barrier curtains, fan, heater, and white noise for normal noise sound control. The rooms are large with small fridge. New sheets and a towel are provided. All cooking pots/pans are also provided. Ideal candidate is a visiting PhD., visiting postdoc., intern, or a university student. We've also hosted 100s of international students.
The location is close to two major buses (bus 75, and bus 73) to Harvard Square, McLean Hospital and Bentley College. NO CARS as there is NO PARKING. The neighborhood itself is very quiet and safe.
The place is normal noisy but tries to be quiet. We have a corgi on our side. No loud music or TV. Normal use of alcohol. No Drugs, vaping, or cigarettes.
