Our apartment is on a residential, quiet street near public transportation. It is spacious, loft-style, with high ceilings, gallery-style lighting, hardwood floors, a dishwasher, a food dispenser, a free washer and dryer in the basement and some storage space. Free off-street parking available, if needed. Utilities range from $100 -$200 (summer vs. winter months, depending on gas usage).
The available room is small, but charming. It has hardwood floors, a skylight and one large closet. It is unfurnished.
We are an interesting mix of arts and science people--a lawyer who enjoys learning new languages; a writer and curator of art projects; a social scientist who enjoys team sports. When at home, we like a respectful, quiet, yet friendly atmosphere. We all contribute to keeping the house well-organized and clean.
We are looking for someone congenial, minimalist, tidy, who has a busy and independent life outside of the house.
